Savage Jerky Avocado Toast

Savage Jerky Avocado Toast with Bourbon Glaze Bacon Jerky


1 thick slice of hearty bread, such as sourdough or whole grain
2 Hass avocados 
1 clove garlic, halved
1 Tbsp Savage Jerky Herb Blend (optional)
1 package Savage Jerky Bourbon Glaze Bacon Jerky
1 large egg
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, halved
Salt & Pepper

Savage Jerky Avocado Toast


    Begin by toasting bread with a bit of olive oil in a hot pan. Toast on both sides until crisp and just browned, remove from pan and, while still hot, season with a bit of salt and rub all over with halved garlic cloves. 

    In a large bowl, peel avocados and combine with remaining olive oil, lemon juice and Savage Herb Blend. Using the back of a fork, mash avocado together to desired consistency, season with salt and pepper to taste. 

    Assemble toast with generous topping of Avocado, several strips of Bourbon Glaze bacon jerky & top with egg, fried to your liking.
