Chocolate Covered Savage Bacon Jerky

 

Less recipe, more just a fun idea for entertaining- particularly with the holidays upon us- this sweet and savory snack packs the best of both worlds without the hassle of frying bacon!

Ingredients: 

  • 1 Package Savage Jerky Maple Cayenne Bacon Jerky (or any other flavor)
  • 6oz milk chocolate, melted

Directions: 

In a microwave safe bowl, add milk chocolate and cook in 30 second intervals, stirring between until chocolate is fully melted. Carefully dip each piece of jerky at least halfway into the chocolate and arrange on a wax paper lined baking sheet. 

Place baking sheet in refrigerator or freezer for at least 15 minutes, or until chocolate has completely hardened. Alternatively, while chocolate is still tacky, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, nuts or fruits as desired!
