When will I receive my order?
Orders are shipped 1 to 2 business days from receipt. During the holiday season this could be 2-4 business days. Our warehouse is open Monday through Friday. We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday. The shipping method chosen is shipping time not fulfillment time. Once your order is delivered to USPS we refer you to that service for status updates or problems. We're happy to assist in this as well, but it's a bit out of our control at that point. Common shipping times according to USPS:
- Priority Mail: 1-3 business days to most locations

If you purchased the priority mail option, your package did come standard with insurance and we will file a claim and work on getting another package out to you. For all international orders, the buyer acknowledges responsibility for any import or customs fees and/or taxes.
We do NOT ship through UPS.

What is it and why do I need it?

The cost to you - to fully protect your package in the event that it is lost, damaged, or stolen - is calculated based on the subtotal of the order and the partnership between Onward and the merchant.

Note: We refund the cost of the item(s) alone. Shipping costs, taxes, and the Onward premium are not included. We also do not pay custom/duty fees.
Is it ever too late to file a claim?
Onward will only act on an order issue that is filed within the bounds of our domestic/international timeline policy. If an order issue is filed outside of this timeline, Onward will deny the order issue according to these policies:

Order issues for packages marked "delivered" yet not received and where there is no evidence of “porch piracy” must be made 2 days after “delivery date” but no longer than 15 days to ensure it was not misdelivered or easily found around the premises."

Order issues for packages presumed to be lost by the carrier (where the status is not "delivered") must be filed no sooner than 7 days after the scheduled delivery date for United States domestic shipments (20 days for international shipments) and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.

How does flat rate shipping work?
There is a flat fee for each order of $4.95 up to $59 and FREE priority shipping on orders of $60+. Orders will be shipped via the cheapest option per the weight of the package. This could mean your package will take 3-7 business days to be delivered.
What should I do if I have not received my package?
United States
If you have not received your order in the time stated above or your order is not showing movement within tracking, please feel free to contact your local post office or call USPS by phone at 1(800) 275-8777. Or please email us at info@savagejerkyco.com to check into the order for you.
PLEASE NOTE: Savage Jerky is not responsible for packages that were shipped to the wrong address. We do NOT ship through UPS.
GROUND ADVANTAGE
Ground advantage is what USPS now calls First Class Mail. This does come with standard insurance.
If your package is lost or was damaged upon arrival, please contact us within 15 days so that we can file a claim with USPS.

FIRST CLASS MAIL
If you have not received your order or your order is not showing movement within tracking, please feel free to contact your local post office or call USPS by phone at 1(800) 275-8777. Once packages leave the United States, there is no way to track them or know how long they will take to arrive at their destinations. Please note that First Class International Mail does NOT come with insurance.
Savage Jerky will not replace items that are lost, stolen, or damaged upon delivery. We are also not responsible for packages that were shipped to the wrong address.

Do you offer military discounts?

Is your jerky gluten free?
All of our jerky products are made with ingredients not-known to include gluten. Please consult the ingredient listing on particular flavors to ensure the product doesn't contain anything that might conflict with your diet or potential allergens. We've made every effort to ensure our products are as clean as possible, including being free of nitrates, nitrites and other preservatives.
Why don't you ship to my country?
Unfortunately, many countries do not allow meat snacks through customs. A very abbreviated list of commonly asked countries include:
