Savage Jerky Bacon Frittata
Amp up your breakfast game with this incredibly easy, yet flavor-packed frittata. Full of flavor thanks to our signature herb blend and a mixture of any of our Uncured Bacon jerky varieties, this is a crowd pleaser you'll come back to!
- 1 bag Savage Jerky Uncured Bacon Jerky, any variety chopped
- 2 tbsp Savage Jerky Herb Blend, plus more for garnish
- 6 large eggs
- 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 5 slices whole mozzarella
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 bell pepper, sliced thin
- Fresh herbs for garnish
- Salt & Pepper
Preheat oven to 400º and grease a medium cast-iron pan with butter or cooking spray.
Whisk eggs and heavy cream until smooth, season with salt. Cut tomatoes in half and arrange in the bottom of a cast iron pan with chopped Savage Jerky Uncured Bacon Jerky. Arrange sliced bell peppers evenly around pan, season vegetables with Savage Jerky Herb Blend.
Sprinkle vegetables with shredded mozzarella cheese, pour over egg mixture. Arrange sliced mozzarella around pan, garnish with additional Savage Jerky Herb Blend and bake for 15-18 minutes until edges have browned slightly and center is set.
Garnish with fresh herbs such as basil and finely-chopped chives.
