Breakfast of champions? We think so. Our take on the classic pigs in a blanket dish from your childhood spiced up with Savage Jerky Bacon Jerky, serve this up with some maple syrup on the side and kick it into overdrive.
Ingredients:
1 bag Savage Jerky Uncured Bacon Jerky Maple Cayenne, or any variety
8 butter flake crescent rolls
8 breakfast sausages
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350º. Heat a small pan over medium heat and cook breakfast sausages until browned and nearly cooked through, about 6 minutes. Allow sausages to cool and wrap with a single slice of Savage Jerky Uncured Bacon Jerky (Maple Cayenne makes a perfect pairing!).
Wrap each sausage with a crescent roll, trimming to fit if necessary. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
