Some burgers are good. This one's savage. We're talking two smashed beef patties, stacked high with bacon jerky, cheese, and crispy veggies. A touch of habanero pineapple marinade to top it off. Grab your spatula and get ready to smash.
Ingredients:
- 1 bag Zero Sugar Purely Peppered Bacon Jerky, finely chopped
- 2oz Carolina Habanero Pineapple Marinade
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 4 slices onion
- 4 iceberg lettuce leaves
- 4 slices cheddar cheese (or preferred)
- 4 brioche rolls, halved and toasted (or preferred)
Directions:
Combine Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix with your hands until just combined.
Divide ground beef into four sections. Then half each fourth. Form balls from each 1/8th, add to pan and smash down until flat. Cook on the stovetop on medium-high heat for about 2 minutes. Flip over, top with cheese if desired, and cook 2 more minutes for medium, or until preferred doneness.
Remove burgers from heat. Build burger with bottom bun, marinade, lettuce leaf, patty, cheese, patty, bacon jerky and onion. Top with more marinade sauce and top bun. Devour!
