Let's be honest — regular jalapeño poppers are just an appetizer. These are a statement.
It's smoky, spicy, salty, and just chaotic enough to be the first thing gone off the table. If your idea of a good snack involves a little bit of heat and zero apologies, you're in the right place.
Ingredients:
For blondies:
- 1 bag Sizzlin' Maple Bacon Jerky, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp maple flavoring
- 1/4 tsp salt
For frosting:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tsp maple flavoring
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, blend the brown sugar with melted butter. Add in eggs and vanilla, stir until combined. Add salt, flour, maple flavoring, and jerky bits mixing until well blended. Pour into prepared baking dish. Bake for 35 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool completely. To make frosting, combine butter with powdered sugar, maple flavoring and heavy cream until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Pipe strips over cooled blondies and add candy eyeballs. Save for a spooky event or snack immeditely!
