- ¾ ounce lime juice
- 4 sprigs of fresh mint
- 2 ounces white rum
- Club soda/sparkling water
- 1 ½ teaspoons sugar, to taste
- 1 lime round, garnish
- Ice
Pour sugar and add three springs of mint to a heavy-bottomed cocktail glass. Muddle the mint between 5-10 times until fragrant. Add rum and lime juice then stir to help the sugar dissolve. Fill the glass with ice and stir to combine all ingredients. Place lime round in the glass and tuck remaining mint spring in the glass (leaving the top exposed) for garnish. Serve cold and enjoy!
