Spicy Chicken and Chili Pepper Bacon Nachos

 

Just in time for football season and playoff baseball, spice up your nacho game with sweet and spicy Chili Pepper Bacon Jerky from Savage Jerky for a game time snack that will be the life of the party!

Ingredients: 

  • 1- Package Savage Jerky Chili Pepper Bacon Jerky, chopped
  • 2- Chicken breasts
  • 2 cups- Shredded cheese
  • 1- Tomato, diced
  • 1- Red onion, diced
  • ½ cup- Black olives, sliced
  • ½ cup- Cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 2 packets- Taco seasoning
  • Sour cream
  • Salt + Pepper

Directions: 

Pre-heat oven to 350º. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, season with salt and boil chicken breasts for approximately 10-15 minutes depending on size- until internal temperature reaches 165º. Once cooled, dice chicken into bite-sized bites and place in a skillet over medium heat. Add taco seasoning, and ½ cup of water to pan and stir to combine. Reduce until sauce coats chicken and remove from heat. Arrange tortilla chips on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, topping with chicken, cheese and layering as desired. Bake for approximately 7 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Remove from oven and top with bacon jerky, red onion, black olives, cilantro, sour cream and other toppings as desired.
